The Olsen’s brand continues to expand with the launch of a new hangbag collection for their fashion line The Row.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have created a luxury nine bag collection as part of their high-end fashion line The Row, with the bags going on sale in Barneys Department Store in New York in August.
The collection are made of many luxurious materials including leather, ostrich, alligator and lizard skins, all of which explain the high price tags attached to these bags. Prices begin at $4,700 and go to a staggering $39,000 black crocodille skin backpack.
If this photo is anything to go by then the bags are sure to be VERY beautiful. Not only is Ashley Olsen’s aquamarine box bag the perfect summer accessory, Mary-Kate’s blue blazer and matching shorts are at the top of my wish list (although this creation is also by The Row so I better start saving).
Cheryl Cole has decided to put a personal selection of well known outfits up for auction on asos.com’s Marketplace in aid of her charity The Cheryl Cole Foundation. The dresses will be sold to the lowest unique bid - the lowest amount not bid by anyone else on an individual piece.
The selction includes dresses worn at X Factor auditions, Girl’s Aloud performances and personal special occasions. My two favourites from the selection (and ones which I will definitely place a bid on) are both designed by Philip Lim 3.1. The first is the Ikat print dress with a gorgeous bow belt (not included in the auction) and the second is the white and blue ribbon applique dress, both of which she wore to the July 2009 X Factor auditions in Manchester.
The auction begins on 13th June and continues for two weeks so get ready to start bidding!
Emma Watson chose two Marchesa dresses to wear to the MTV Movie Awards which took place in Hollywood on June 5th. I particularly liked the lime green dress she wore to the after party. The colour is unique and so appropriate for summer, perfectly teamed with a gold clutch and shoes. Its the type of dress I would love for my Graduation in September but in a blue or purple shade. Lets hope I find something similar over the summer!
